During the first week of class we introduced ourselves to the class. We also
stated everything we remembered from world history I from last semester. We made a timeline starting from the Paleolithic era to the post modern era. As a class we discovered that the Paleolithic era consisted of cave people and the Stone Age. Then there was the Neolithic Era which was considered the "New Stone Age." They established agriculture and they began to settle down more during this era. After the Neolithic Era was the Ancient Era. During during this time people started to develop the technique of writing. Next was the Classical Era and it began the idea of seminal thinkers. Seminal thinkers are people who started studying out of their comfort zone. Then as a class we recognized the European Era. This was in 1348 when the plague happened. After the plague was the Renaissance. The Renaissance was the rebirth of Classical Greek Humanism. Then after the Renaissance we went through the modern era. During the modern era we had many more advancements in science and math. Now what is believed the era that we are in right now is post modern. Which is supposedly the idea of "rejection of modern sciences."
