Industrial Revolution
-science applied to making things we require for life
-can be seen as one of the most important things that has ever happened to human societies
-How is it? How can one argue why it is so important?
During class we used an example of a dressmaker before the industrial revolution versus after the industrial revolution. We found that the for the dressmaker before the industrial revolution had a lot more work to do for way less prodution than the dressmaker during the industrial revolution. Although the lady before the revolution was very happy and content with life it just was not efficient enough. But unfortunately, the lady working duirng the revolution was very unhappy. Although it was more efficient, it produced a lot more issues.
As a class we asked a few questions like what is the origin of value?
and "What is the value of labor?"
What was the shift of the industrial revolution?
It was the replacement of human energy with machinery.
Fast mass production > slow fewer production.
